Weak solutions for hyperbolic partial fractional differential equations in Banach spaces

Abstract

This paper is devoted to study the existence of solutions under the Pettis integrability assumption for an initial value problem for a hyperbolic differential equation of fractional order, involving the Caputo fractional derivative. We use the measure of weak noncompactness and Monch’s fixed point theorem.
