Abstract
Intergranular and intragranular magnetic moment loops were measured in perpendicular fields up to 1 tesla for a PbBi-2223 silver-sheated tape of good quality. From the unusual intergranular magnetic moment loop the hysteretic intergranular critical current density was extracted. The intergranular critical current density was found to be much smaller that the intragranular one, revealing the weak-link behaviour of the PbBi-2223 tape.
