Abstract
We show that the mechanism which enhances ordinary fermion masses and raises the masses of pseudo Goldstone bosons in walking-technicolor models may also lead to an enhancement of weak-isospin--violating effects of extended-technicolor interactions. We discuss the constraints on these models due to limits on the deviation of the \ensuremath{\rho} parameter from 1.
