Abstract

Weak CP violation in an SU(2) L × U(1) Y × U(1) PQ model is considered. The extra global U(1) PQ is used to rotate away the θ-term responsible for strong CP violation and also to label the fermionic generations in a manner proposed by Davidson and Wali. Flavour changing transitions caused by neutral Higgs scalars constitute a unique source of CP violations in the model and lead to phenomenologically consistent values for the CP violating parameters ϵ and ϵ′.
