We can disagree and still be friends

Abstract

Mahatma Ghandi once said, “Honest disagreement is often a good sign of progress.” He was a brilliant, tolerant man from a different generation, and times have certainly changed. Just because times have changed doesn't necessarily mean we have to change our societal values and our general sense of open‐mindedness.
