The incidence of allergic diseases and asthma is increasing throughout the world, and these diseases pose major medical and socioeconomic problems globally.[1,2]
This is true in the developed world, which has experienced a tremendous increase in the prevalence of allergic diseases and asthma over the last 50 years.[2,3,4,5]
