Abstract
In the presented work, methods of formation and combustion of solid carbon particles in the cylinder of a piston ICE are considered. The presence of these particles in the exhaust gases has an extremely adverse effect on the environmental situation and causes colossal harm to the health of people and animals. Replacing petroleum diesel fuel with Compressed Natural Gas makes it possible to significantly reduce the environmental load on the atmosphere and purify the air in large cities. Experimental and theoretical data are presented, confirming the effectiveness of the proposed method.
