Abstract

In communication the task is not limited to formulating a system of meanings that transmit a thought. The internal subtext or sense has to be conveyed as well. Stanislavsky emphasized the necessity to comprehend the entire semantic situation behind a role. Concrete characters from well-known plays are used to demonstrate different means and techniques.
