Abstract

Numerical modeling is performed of movement control processes in higher regions of the human brain during the planning and execution of voluntary tracking movements, based on the internal model hypothesis. Such measures as a Kalman filter, linear–quadratic estimator, and linear–quadratic regulator are used. A way of determining moments of the activation of controls is proposed, based on an analysis of the trajectory of tracking movements. Different indicators of the quality of executing tracking movements, including energy expenditure, stability, contributions from motor errors, planning, and execution, are estimated numerically. Real experimental data is obtained in tests of athletes on the national teams of Russia. Practical application of the considered measures to training is shown.
