Abstract

An examination is given to compare the fast capabilities of operational matrices of integration formed by various orthogonal functions. It is found that the Haar wavelet operational matrix is the fastest. Based on the newly established matrix, a simple and complete procedure for optimising a dynamic system is formulated. Different constraints and various conditions of the time-invariant system optimisation problems are considered and solved with the new wavelet approach.
