Wavelength tunable all-optical clock recovery at 40 Gb/s based on a fiber optical parametric oscillator

Abstract

We demonstrate all-optical clock recovery at 40 Gb/s using a fiber optical parametric oscillator. The recovered clock signal has a timing jitter of 490 fs, low power fluctuations, and a tuning range of 8 nm.
