Abstract

The synthesis problem for the waveguide antennas according to the prescribed amplitude radiation characteristics in the wide range of frequencies is considered. At the same time, the series of various requirements to the amplitude radiation pattern and front-to-rear factor in the operating frequency range as well as outside of this range can be taken into account when formulating the variational problem. The methods of successive approximations are used for solving the received nonlinear integral equations; the direct optimization of initial functionals by the gradient methods is used too. The results of numerical modeling are presented.
