Abstract

Techniques of wave-field rendering in computational holography are proposed. These polygon-based techniques are developed for the creation of high-definition CGHs. The holograms created, reconstruct a true fine 3D image of occluded scenes, which creates a strong sensation of depth due to motion parallax. These computational holograms can be appreciated as works of art.
