Abstract
For Magnetic Resonance Elastography there currently exists no model that shows the stiffness of tissues for testing. In this study different types of healthy and diseased tissues were modeled using four agarose phantoms. Each phantom was altered by adding different concentrations of agarose. The wave propagation and the stiffness of each phantom were compared with healthy and diseased tissue. The results of the experiment showed that the behavior of the phantoms with less concentration of agarose was similar to healthy tissues while the phantoms with the highest concentrations were similar to diseased tissues.
