Abstract

Numerical simulations of the magneto-transport and corresponding wave functions have been carried out for Sinai billiard structures. In agreement with experiment, we obtain resistance traces that show indications of self-similarity. In addition, many resonant wave functions show scarring, that is, their amplitude is highly concentrated along underlying periodic classical orbits. These scars can occur periodically with field. The positions of the entrance and exit leads appears to be important in determining the complexity of this scarring behavior.
