Abstract

The wave function approach to reaction matrix theory has been adapted to the $K$ matrix calculation for potentials which behave like $K$ near the origin. The results are used to obtain the Hulthe\ifmmode \acute{n}\else \'{n}\fi{} ${r}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ matrix in terms of tabulated transcendental functions.NUCLEAR REACTIONS Scattering theory, $K$ matrix for singular potentials, Hulth\'en $K$ matrix obtained in closed form.
