Abstract

In the US, Long Island-based WATT Fuel Cell has been awarded a $2.1 million, 20-month contract from the US Army Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC) to demonstrate the viability of the company's proprietary solid oxide fuel cell manufacturing processes. The company is also planning to expand manufacturing at the Mount Pleasant Glass Center in Pennsylvania.
