Abstract

Metamaterial absorbers have been researched by many researchers due to the perfect absorption performance of eletromagnetic waves. Here, we will present an ultra-wideband metamaterial absorber (MA) based on pure water. Different from the typical metallic MA, all dielectric MA, which is based on pure water, absorbs electromagnetic waves by magnetic resonance. It is clearly shown that near-unity is achieved in a wide frequency region. It is believed that the MA has high potential application for the RCS reduction.
