Abstract

In this paper we consider the velocity potential of water waves in the framework of linear theory.The circular plate lies on the free surface of water of finite depth with the circular obstacle far from it. The problem is reduced to a system of dual integral equations. For solving this equation, we convert it into Fredholm integral equation of second kind. Representations for far diffraction field and for kernels of Fredholm equation of deep, or shallow water and long wave are given.
