Abstract

Large scale forces are reshaping the world of water, like climate change, human settlements, and human economic activities. These forces make water management a challenging issue that has become more and more complicated with multiplicity and increasing need to use water. That is why sustained water management requires coordination between preservation measures and the different ways of water uses. In this article, we investigate and approach these two components through the expansion of agriculture as a main human activity in the Province of El Hajeb, to underline and analyze the types of relationships existing between water uses and conservation measures.
