Abstract

The City of Durham, North Carolina, established a Conservation and Public Education Program in 1993 to educate citizens on the importance of protecting and conserving Durham's water resources. This paper describes some of the program's most popular services including a water use assessment, shower head exchange program, and landscaping training.
