Abstract

The article considers the importance of water security for the state. The case study presents the solution to the water dispute between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and India-Pakistan and its effectiveness for Kazakhstan. The features of the distribution of water resources between the states of Central Asia and the causes of low water are also being studied. The main structural factors of water security and interaction of states in the field of water resources management are indicated. The main types of conflicts for water resources are identified and their features are noted. An analysis of the strategic importance of water for the people and the state is made. Conflicts over water resources are also analyzed. Among the states of Central Asia, the specifics of water relations with Kyrgyzstan are given as an example.
