Abstract
The objective of this work was to analyse the water quality of eight artesian wells in the municipality of Lagarto/ SE to determine if they comply with the standards of potability of the Ministry of Health Decree No. 888/2021 and the classification of Resolution CONAMA 357/2005. The methodology followed was the evaluation of the physicochemical parameters of the water samples. The results demonstrate some non-conformities in the physico-chemical analyses. Through methods and statistical tools, ANOVA (analysis of variance) and PCA (principal component analysis), it was possible to explain the variation of the data collected in this work, where the main component 1 (CP1) explained 54,41% of the variance of the data, (CP2) explained 20,43% and, at last (CP3) explained 15,17%, totaling 90,01% of the explanation of the variation of the data collected.
