Abstract

The importance of knowing the water quality status with the use of macroinvertebrates diversity gives an establishment to proper practices to prevent pollution in Surigao River, Surigao City, Philippines. Riparian, Channel, and Environmental Inventory were used in describing the vegetation of the three-sampling stations. The occurrence of macroinvertebrates was supported by selected physicochemical parameters, WQI, and ASPT. RCE scores for the three sampling stations were good, very good, and fair. physicochemical parameters were within standard limits of DAO 2016-08 except for pH and temperature for station 1.
