Abstract

Evanston, 111., dental caries study, to determine whether or not the addition of a minute amount of fluorine to the communal water supply would reduce the incidence of dental caries in children, was started in 1946. Several papers covering various phases of the project have been published in the Journal of Dental Research, but as yet no direct report has been made to the water works profession.
