Abstract

In order to treat and reuse wastewater, hydrolytic acidification-biological contact oxidation-physical chemical techniques were adopted in Nanchang Cigarette Factory. The practical application indicated that the removal rates of CODcr, BOD5 and SS reached 96.4%, 98.1% and 98.7%, respectively. This technique was good for integrated wastewater treatment as in cigarette factory of low pollution concentration, wide load fluctuation and small water throughput, and the economic and environmental benefits were also good. It provided a sample of reference for other cigarette factories.
