Abstract
This article discusses the chemistry of polyphosphate and orthophosphate ingredients in order to establish an optimal range of dosage rates and expected performance. The article discusses the NSF/ANSI Standard 60 list for Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals – Health Effects, that provides definitions for vendor terminology. The article also provides a list of other sources to help identify unknown ingredients and determine whether those ingredients are compatible with your needs.
