Abstract
Joan Roe was on the Saint Louis University field hockey team. She was allegedly raped at a party held on Oct. 27 in an off‐campus apartment building. A few days later, Roe told one of the field hockey captains that she had been raped at the party. Another field hockey captain reported Roe's allegation to Janet Oberle, assistant athletic director for National Collegiate Athletic Association compliance, on Nov. 1.
