Abstract

Warthin's tumor (papillary cystadenoma lymphomatosum) is the second most common benign neoplasm of the parotid gland and constitutes about 14% of all epithelial tumors of the parotid gland.1 Most of the cases occur in the fifth and sixth decades.2 The tumor usually presents as an asymptomatic, slowly growing mass in the region of the parotid tail. Multifocal lesions, both multiple ipsilateral tumors and bilateral lesions, may occur in up to 12% of cases.3 The tumor rarely occurs in the extraparotid sites and most commonly occurs in the cervical lymph nodes.
