Abstract

The paper consists of the three parts. The first one is about famous intelectuals andtheir writting during the 16th century in Poland and Croatia. In the second part the authordescribed the first Polish and Croatian grammar and showed their similarities as wellas differences. Workshop about translation of Kochanowski’s poetry into Croatian wasprovided in the third part in which the author presented changes made to the second Trentranslation for the purpose of its improvement.
