Abstract
This policy note explores the landscape of federal legislation and policy that directly impact families, in light of the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Healthcare. In particular, the connection of unintended pregnancy on maternal and child health, family well-being, and society will be explored using established knowledge on the relationship of unintended pregnancy on physical health, mental health, family socioeconomic status, and child maltreatment.
