Research Article| June 01 2013 Walls of Flesh: The Films of Koji Wakamatsu (1965–1972) Alberto Toscano, Alberto Toscano Alberto Toscano teaches at Goldsmiths, University of London and is coauthor of the forthcoming Cartographies of the Absolute, an investigation into film, narrative, and the aesthetics of contemporary capitalism. He is author of Fanaticism (2010) and sits on the editorial board of Historical Materialism.Go Hirasawa is a film historian at Meiji Gakuin University, Tokyo, specializing in 1960s cinema. He has organized several retrospectives and is the editor of Underground Film Archives (2001), Wakamatsu Koji Hankenryoku no Shozo (2007), and Nagisa Oshima Chosakushu (2008), among other books.
