Abstract

There is growing evidence that physical activity is an effective and tolerable treatment for a variety of mental health disorders in childhood and adolescence. And yet, exercise remains an underutilized intervention for the treatment of mental health disorders in youth. This Workshop will provide participants with practical skills to successfully incorporate exercise into a variety psychiatric treatment settings and consolidate this knowledge through movement exercises taught in real time.
