Abstract

Abstract The integration of Near Field Communication (NFC) in smartphones offered many applications in the market and in many other fields such as electronic ticketing, access control frameworks, etc.). On the other hand, virtual reality is another technology that has been on the rise recently and its applications span over many fields such as entertainment, education, military, aerospace and leisure fields. This paper presents a novel data hiding technique (VRNFC-Stego) in which this technique creates a highly secured connection based on NFC-Enabled android smartphones via VR images. The proposed technique solved one of the most challenging data hiding open problems that is the embedding capacity. The experimental results showed that our VRNFC-Stego is a powerfully secured and user friendly system which enables highly capacity data to be hidden along with high imperceptibility.
