Abstract

Determining the value of the default as an input variable into the valuation algorithm can be one of the fundamental problems in the valuation of machines. The value of a machine depends on the level of its properties. A machine is a complex system, and the properties of this system are described by several parameters. Increasing the level of these parameters usually significantly affects the production costs. Correct definition of pricing parameters and determination of their price dependencies can lead to improved approaches in the determination of the default value and thus to achieving more credible valuation results. The aim of the contribution was to create a price model for the calculation of the value of the default punching machine depending on its pricing parameters. The advantages of the chosen approach can be seen mainly in the possibilities of data processing and the use of processing outputs for creating practical applications.
