Abstract

V primerjavi z ostalimi razvitimi evropskimi narodi sta se violinska pedagogika in njena metodika začeli na Slovenskem evidentno razvijati šele v 19. stoletju. Največje vplive in zasluge za razvoj violinske pedagogike na Slovenskem sta imeli violinski šoli dunajskega in praškega konservatorija. Obe violinski šoli sta imeli svoj izvor v francoski violinski šoli z glavnim predstavnikom G. B. Viottijem. Največji pečat je na razvoj violinske pedagogike na Slovenskem vtisnila praška violinska šola. K temu je ogromno prispeval Otakar Ševčík, ki je s svojim delom Violinschule für Anfänger, op. 6 vplival tudi na nastanek slovenskih violinskih metodičnih del, ki so nastala šele v 20. stoletju.
