Abstract

Historically, social workers have used voter registration to politically empower their clients. This paper describes the agencybased voter registration project of the University of Connecticut School of Social Work, Nancy A. Humphreys Institute for Political Social Work, including the project's implementation, and evaluation. Voter registration principles emerge from analyses of successful agency-based voter registration programs. doi:10.1300/J508v06n04_06 [Attide copies available for a fee from The Haworth Documetit Delivery Service: 1-800HAWORTH.
