Abstract
Since its foundation at the beginning of the 20th century, the Volkshochschule Bonn has been connected to the University of Bonn – its founder – and the Cityof Bonn itself, towhich it has belonged since 1947. The changes the city has been experiencing since the government moved to Berlin is reflected in the program of the Volkshochschule. Answers to the challenges of digitalization for the content and methods of adult education are sought via trial and error – and the Volkshochschule is learning a lot in the process.
