Abstract
Abstract Liberating Force of the Word of God: The Farewell Sermon of the Bavarian Pastoral Vicar Lydia Schroder (1952). During World War II female university trained theologians filled the voidwhen parish pastors were absent. After the war step by step this ended as a regular church ordination of women had not yet been achieved. The case of Lydia Schroder is extraordinary as a typoscript of a Sunday sermon exists. It is reprinted here and analyzed in its theology against the background of the factual female pastorship.
