Abstract

It’s been ages since the relationship between reference librarians and end-users stayed within the boundaries of providing the community with access to its cultural heritage. Numerous factors have transformed a relationship which is now about accompanying new users as they adopt information access tools and methods. Review of major stages in this evolution.
