AbstractDevelopment of new Lab On a Chip microfluidic device for small aquatic model organisms. In their article, authors Cartlidge and Wlodkowic develop proof‐of‐concept chipbased devices capable of effectively caging freshwater rotifers Brachionus calyciflorus for highdefinition video‐microscopy analysis. The combination of time‐resolved video‐microscopy and chip‐based physiometers enabled new applications for neurobehavioral assays.Cover design by Bärbel Beran [www.beran-design.de].
