Abstract

Indicator electrodes formed by dispersion of acetylene black in a microcrystalline wax matrix have been prepared. Such electrodes have been used to study the voltammetric characteristics of a range of metal aquo ions and to determine their peak potentials. The effects of depolarizer concentration and potential sweep rate have been studied in some detail.
