Abstract
We report the facile synthesis of MoS2 microspheres and the construction of MoS2/glassy carbon electrodes (GCE) for the precise detection of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). The electrochemical performance of MoS2 modified GCE was investigated by using cyclic voltammetry (CV). High surface area and good electrical conductivity of MoS2 microspheres facilitated the superior electrocatalytic reduction of H2O2. MoS2/GCE sensor displayed high sensitivity, linearity in detection from 10 to 100 µM with the lower detection and quantification limits of 1.13 µM and 3.82 µM.
