Abstract

In recent years a number of FACTS devices have been proposed for better utilization of FACTs Devices for power transmission facilities and these devices have shown better results when used to improve power system stability. Many papers discuss the voltage stability [1] assessment of power system using power flow analysis methods. In this paper, a static voltage stability analysis is done by without and with FACT devices such as by using TCSC, which is aimed at detection of the voltage stability [2]. So a voltage indicator is derived by using Kirchhoffs law from the concerned power system network and From the indicator, voltage instability and voltage collapse can be predicted.
