Abstract

Current sharing and voltage restoration ability are important in DC Microgrid. To maintain the stability of DC Bus voltage and balance of output power each of DG in the network, this paper proposes the primary and secondary controller. The primary controller contains the dual-loop. The first loop is SMCC (Sliding Mode Current Controller) as current controller and the second loop is PIVC (Proportional Integral Voltage Controller) as voltage controller. To maintain the current sharing and DC Bus voltage, current and voltage observer with DGA (Decentralized Gossip Algorithm) are proposed. Simulation results show that the proposed controller has better output than the conventional droop control. The proposed controller can converge the current output of each DG. The use of the proposed controller is also able to improve the bus voltage drop caused by droop control method. Although the proposed controller can improve the current sharing and voltage restoration ability, the time delay in communication network can reduce the abilities.
