Abstract

The impulse breakdown voltage-time characteristics of a coaxial cylindrical gap in 10% SF6-90% N2 mixtures are presented. The theoretical models for the determination of the envelopes of the v-t characteristics are examined. A method has been suggested for the determination of the characteristic parameters used in the theoretical models.
