Abstract

ABSTRACT This is the second part of an ongoing series that is part of this journal’s continuing commitment to our colleagues in Ukraine. In more peaceful times they could focus on publishing their work on the larger culture of central Europe in journals such as this one. Instead, they are now forced to confront the horror of war every day. The least we can do is provide another forum for their voices to be heard. We are grateful to our colleagues in Ukraine for their texts and to their translators for making this series possible.
