Abstract

Glacier-based mountain water systems are the water towers of the world, and billions are dependent on the vital services they provide. In an effort to better understand the effects of climate change on the glaciers of the Hindu Kush-Himalaya, National Geographic and Tribhuvan University conducted a multidisciplinary expedition to Mount Everest. These are the voices from that journey.
