Abstract

In healthcare protocols continuous monitoring of vital parameters plays a crucial role in patient care. Integrating advanced technologies for both monitoring and patient comfort enhances the efficiency of healthcare delivery. This paper presents the design and development of a novel patient bed system equipped with vital parameter monitoring capabilities and adjustable head position controlled through voice commands. The proposed system leverages state-of-the-art sensors to monitor vital parameters such as heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and temperature. These sensors are seamlessly integrated into the bed, providing non-intrusive and continuous monitoring of the patient's health status. Real-time data acquisition and processing algorithms ensure accurate and timely assessment of the patient's condition. Furthermore, the patient bed is designed with an adjustable head position feature, allowing for optimal comfort and support. Unlike conventional manual or automated adjustment mechanisms, our system employs voice control technology for intuitive and hands-free operation. Patients can simply issue verbal commands to adjust the head position according to their preferences, enhancing overall comfort and facilitating better rest.
