Abstract

Objective To study the vocational values of undergraduate nurse students, especially different origins students and on ly-child students , so as to provide references about nursing education.Methods Super vocational values scale amended by Ning Wei-wei was conducted on 70 undergraduate nurse students in our school to analyze vocational values according to different origins students and whether the only-child or not.Results Colleague relationships, lifestyle, altruism were top three in 15 vocational value measures of 70nursing students, and the final was the security.Whether students in a different context of child both agricultural and pastoral areas paid more attention to security than urban nursing students.The city nursing students paid more attention on lifestyle and achievements than on the intellectual and pastoral areas stimulated, altruism, change, independence and oversight relationship, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05).Child paid more attention on financial rewards, sense of beauty and achievement, the differences were statistically signifi cant (P < 0.05) .Conclusions The value of our school vocational nursing students is different; from urban and pastoral areas, whether the child is not the same value orientation, the proposed professional values of nursing students to face guidance and reasonable intervention.
